I love the little moments that force us to slow down and enjoy time with the people we love.
That belief is behind everything I do — at the table, in the kitchen, and everywhere in between.
I'm a Jersey girl who grew up watching my mom Carmen cook. She taught herself entirely, no formal training, just instinct and love and an almost magical ability to make people feel fed in every sense of the word. I grew up admiring that. The confidence of someone who walks into a kitchen and just knows. I learned from watching her, I learned from trying, and I learned from the many Sunday afternoons spent at her table refusing to leave.
The Aperitivo Hour was born from that feeling. That golden window of time before the meal, when the wine is poured, the small bites are out, nobody's checking their phone, and the conversation just flows. In Italy they call it aperitivo. In my family we just called it Sunday.
Here you'll find recipes inspired by market mornings and Sunday kitchens, tables worth gathering around, and the kind of travel that makes you want to eat your way through every city you land in. This is food, hosting, styling, and life — all through the lens of slow down and savor it.
That's The Aperitivo Hour. And it starts right now.
